We keep as little as we can. You do not need an account, an email address or a password to play.
Who is responsible
Ergoberage, Lda., registered office (sede) in Oeiras, Portugal, NIF / VAT PT513896864, is the controller of the data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What we store, and why
- Your rides: the score, the wave size, the time in the barrel, the distance, how the ride ended, and the date and time. Used for the hall of fame and to understand how the game is played.
- The name you type (up to 12 letters and numbers) and the country you pick. Shown next to your rides in the public hall of fame. Do not use your full real name if you do not want it shown.
- A random device code made by the game the first time you play (16 letters and numbers). It is not linked to your identity; it lets us put your rides together and limit cheating.
- Technical information that every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, handled by our hosting provider for security and to deliver the pages. We use it to suggest your country; we do not store your IP address with your rides.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the game and its hall of fame (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
On your device
The game saves your name, country, sound setting, best score, local hall of fame and device code in your browser's local storage, so they are there next time. It also keeps a copy of the game for offline play. We do not use cookies. You can clear all of this in your browser settings.
none yet (play one wave first)Who else handles it
Our hosting and database provider, Cloudflare, processes the data on our behalf, with the database located in Western Europe. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Rides stay in the hall of fame for as long as the game runs, unless you ask us to remove them. Daily statistics that are not linked to a device code may be kept longer.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Write to [email protected] with your device code (above) and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority in Portugal, the CNPD, www.cnpd.pt.
Children
The game is for everyone, but the hall of fame shows the name you type, so younger players should use a nickname. If you are under 16, ask a parent before typing your name.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
